KORD’s analysis team delivers multi-physics solutions to characterize the aerodynamic, thermal and structural response for flight vehicle systems. We can provide rapid results early in the design phase that highlight areas of concern, allowing our customers to quickly pivot and update designs. We apply versatile modeling approaches tailored to deliver quick and effective results. Early concepts benefit from our 1D modeling to assure preliminary designs are adequate to survive critical environments. Modeling fidelity is increased by using 3D simulation as the design matures to represent the environmental conditions and accurately predict the aerodynamic, thermal and structural response.

KORD’s ability to operate an efficient analytical process that provides effective results is due to the implementation of Kord’s Aerothermal Analysis ToolTM (KAATTM) application. KAATTM is a unique aerothermal solver that significantly reduces analysis runtime when compared to traditional aerothermal tools. KAATTM has provided aerothermal solutions for customers such as PM STORM, AvMC and RTX.
