Henrik Larsen
Vice President, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen
Henrik Larsen is Vice President, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen, Technology, working with the continued development of the KBR technology portfolio for sustainable solutions.
Prior to joining KBR, Henrik held several leadership roles in technology management and development and has more than 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
Henrik has a MSc Chemical Engineering degree from the Technical University of Denmark.
Elena Stylianou
Chief Technical Advisor, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen
Elena Stylianou is Chief Technical Advisor in the Clean Ammonia and Hydrogen business unit at KBR.
She leads KBR Ammonia Cracking Technology, H2ACTSM, with technical oversight of projects, technology development and commercialization. Elena has 15 years of experience in the ammonia, hydrogen and syngas industry and specializes in clean ammonia and hydrogen production. Elena is a chartered member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (UK)
She has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in Chicago, US and an M.Sc. in Advanced Chemical Process Design from the University of Manchester (UMIST), UK.
Paolo Brunengo
Director, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen
Paolo Brunengo is Director for KBR’s Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen technology. Paolo is responsible for business development for ammonia revamp projects and K-GreeN, KBR’s Green Ammonia technology.
Based in London, Paolo joined KBR in 2019 and has 22 years of industry experience across various companies including Casale, Wood, Johnson Matthey, Maire Tecnimont.
Umesh Jain
Senior Director, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen
Umesh Jain is Director, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen Process for KBR Technology. Currently, he is based at Houston and is responsible for business development and execution of greenfield ammonia and syngas projects.
Umesh joined KBR in 2011 at KBR India Technology Center and was responsible for managing the Syngas process team.
Umesh has 29 years of experience in the Ammonia Industry. He started his career as a graduate engineer trainee at Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited in Kota, India in the year 1992 and remained associated with it till 2008. At CFCL, he was involved in the activities like, Ammonia plant project execution, commissioning, and plant operations for its two ammonia plants. He has also worked for Johnson Matthey and Essar Engineering Services Limited in the past before joining KBR in the year 2011.
Umesh has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has written several technical papers and has made presentations at various forums.
Rafal Bernat
Technical Professional Leader, Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen
Rafal Bernat is Technical Professional Leader in the Clean Ammonia and Hydrogen business unit at KBR. He is responsible for KBR Green Ammonia technology, K-GreeN®, market deployment, commercialization and technical development.
Having significant experience in electrolyzers, he also serves as an internal consultant across all KBR business segments supporting market entry of the technology. Rafal has mixed business and scientific experience across all clean ammonia and hydrogen value chain, from renewable power, through hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis and hydrogen consumption.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering specializing in fuel cells from Warsaw University of Technology, and worked at multiple European Universities on electrolyzer technology and distributed energy generation systems.
Volodymyr Oliynyk
Chief Technical Advisor, Ammonia Revamp
Volodymyr Oliynyk is a Chief Technical Advisor, Ammonia Revamp, Technology. In current role has global responsibilities for supporting Ammonia Revamp business.
Volodymyr is part of KBR Technology team for 12 years with taken responsibilities of Technology Manager, Business Development Manager. Prior to joining KBR, Volodymyr had several leadership roles in technology management, research and development including Ammonia/Methanol Design & Research Institute in Soviet Union/Ukraine, Jacobs Engineering.
Volodymyr has a MSc Chemical Engineering degree from Polytechnical University of Kharkov.
