GIANT

Global Positioning System (GPS) Interference and Navigation Tool

Mission-level simulation evaluating Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) system performance

Global Positioning System (GPS) Interference and Navigation Tool (GIANT) has been applied to thousands of analyses by civilian and military communities, supporting research and development, acquisition, test and evaluation, training, concept of operations development, mission planning and operations.

KBR has continually upgraded and enhanced GIANT, adding fidelity and functionality, to reflect the evolution of the PNT enterprise architecture and electronic combat environments, GPS augmentations, M-Code and other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).

Key Capabilities

Modeling, Simulation, Analysis

GIANT serves as the Department of War’s (DoW) standard model for PNT systems and GPS, rapidly predicting and visualizing performance and mission impact across realistic current and future threat scenarios.

Assured PNT

GIANT’s trusted modeling and simulation helps ensure PNT reliability, which is critical to achieving full-spectrum dominance through unified action and integral to joint operations across the full range of military operations.

Focused Tools

GIANT delivers fast, focused tools such as the Reliability Prediction Model (RPM) for frequency clearance and the GPS Environment Generator (GEG) for distributed simulation and high-level architecture in exercises.

Trusted Experience

Detailed Databases

GIANT maintains a pedigreed database of blue, gray and red systems, including platforms, user equipment, satellites, signals and interference sources.

Multi-GNSS Modeling and Simulation

GIANT’s capabilities include global and regional Radio Navigation Satellite Service (RNSS) and other GNSS constellations and user equipment, such as Galileo and BeiDou.

Real-time Data Feeds

GIANT supports numerous DoW data feeds, including constellation status, allowing it to ingest current mission data for analyses.

Live, Virtual, and Constructive Applications

GIANT supports live and virtual exercises and experiments, web-based applications and air and space operations centers.

External Library Interfaces (APIs)

GIANT’s trusted PNT modeling capability and digital models can be integrated into proprietary projects through the GIANT Simulation using external antenna, receiver and player model APIs.

Civilian and Military Signals
