The ASTEPSM
The Unmanned Platform

Major Components of the ASTEP
- Power generation module
- Standardized semi-sub hull with integrated flat truss deck
- Chemical storage and injection module
- Control and communications module for remote well control
- EOR injection module
- Integrated material handling
- Inherently safer due to:
• Normally unattended/unmanned installation (NUI) status
• Production remains contained on seafloor
ASTEP Topside Functional Modules

Large, flat deck area and modular design allows for customization to specific field development requirements Power generation module
- Up to 20 MW
- Options include GTG, diesel-electric, or HV receipt and conditioning from grid, host, or offshore green energy
- Reduced emissions due to unattended operations and accommodation of modern green power technologies
HV Electric switchgear module
- Proven technology for power conditioning and distribution
- Supply 6 MW to subsea multiphase pumps with simultaneous supply of 6 MW to continuous active flowline thermal management
Chemical storage and injection module
- Standard subsea chemical supply and storage method
- Designed for 60-day supply of hydrate, paraffin, asphaltene, scale and corrosion inhibitors
Subsea well control module
- Traditional subsea MCS
- Advanced sensing and monitoring systems included
- Improved digitization and communications integration
Control and communication module
- Robust remote communications module
- Multiple redundant methods of communications (radio, satellite and fiber included)
- Ensure 24/7/365 uninterrupted remote communications, monitoring and control
Utility and material handling
- Standard utility services included
- Crane access to all modules and areas
- Optimized for walk-to-work vessel interactions during maintenance
Inherently Safer Design as ALL production fluids remain on the seafloor
EOR (water or gas) injection module (OPTIONAL)
- Proven technology for water quality
- Readily available for up to 90 kbwpd or 80 mmscfd at 10ksi
- Reconfigurable for size, pressure and injection quality requirements
